RoboCup 2007 Atlanta Logo We, the AllemaniACs RoboCup Team, are back from the US where we participated in RoboCup 2007 which took place in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) from July 1st to July 9th. As usual, the accompanying international Symposium is held right after the competitions. It was quite a trip getting from Germany to the US, not only for us but also for our robots. Wir haben es geschafft! Zum zweiten mal sind wir, die AllemaniACs, Weltmeister im RoboCup@Home Wettbewerb bei den RoboCup Weltmeisterschaften in Atlanta geworden. Detailiiertere Ergebnisse gibt's auf dem Wiki zum RoboCup.

Leaving for Atlanta

We, the AllemaniACs RoboCup Team, are leaving for the RoboCup 2007 World Championship soon. After completing all the nasty paperwork - it was a whole lot of it, trust me - we are almost ready to get on the plane and try our best in this year's competitions. Our robots were already shipped to the US a week ago and we are about to follow now.
I'll try to keep you up to date on how we are doing abroad.

Blue Man Group

Die Blue Man Group gastiert seit Ende März nun auch im Metronom-Theater in Oberhausen. Weil das näher ist als Berlin, und wir davon bisher nur Gutes gehört haben und schon länger gerne selbst die Show erleben wollten, haben wir die Gelegenheit beim Schopf gepackt und uns Karten besorgt. Gestern war es dann endlich soweit.
